In 2002 I made the decision to find a different career. I put all my things in storage, threw a few things in a bag, and went off to Southeast Asia to do some soul searching and decide what I wanted to be when I grew up:
Of course, once you start traveling it gets in your blood. After my pre-med courses in 2004 I spent a year in Latin America. My excuse was that I wanted to learn Spanish (which I did), but I was also just eager to hit the road again. I spent 7 months in Central America — studying, volunteering, and traveling:

Last spring I spent a few weeks in Egypt and returned to Central America again in the summer… but those pics aren’t online yet.
